I discussed with Jeff the importance of replacing the homes main water shut-off valve so the water can be quickly isolated if another plumbing emergency occurs. I also explained that because this leak originated from a brass PEX fitting, additional brass fittings throughout the home could become potential failure points over time. A future whole-home water repipe may be worth considering to improve long-term reliability.
